About the Journal

JISCS is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in information systems, computer science, and digital transformation. The journal will contribute to theory, practice, and policy by publishing impactful research across various domains.

JISCS seeks to be a leading African-based journal with global relevance, offering insights into:

·       Digital transformation and innovation in Africa

·       Information systems for sustainable development

·       FinTech and e-governance solutions

·       Cybersecurity challenges in developing economies

·       Artificial intelligence and machine learning applications

·       Data privacy, ethics, and governance in the African context

 

The journal welcomes submissions in diverse formats, including empirical research, theoretical frameworks, simulations, case studies, literature reviews, and policy discussions. 

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure fairness, quality, and integrity. The editorial board will include regional and international experts in IS, IT, and computer science. To enhance credibility and fairness, the board will be segmented into two main tracks:  Information Systems and Computer Science.
