About the Journal
BACKGROUND:
The Faculty of Accounting and Finance at the University of Professional Studies recognizes the growing need for scholarly contributions in the fields of accounting, finance, Economic and Actuarial Science and related disciplines. Given the increasing complexity of global financial systems, emerging trends in digital finance, and regulatory changes, there is a need for a dedicated platform to publish cutting-edge research. The Journal of Accounting and Finance Research (JAFR) will serve as an avenue for faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals to share knowledge, innovations, and critical discussions. The establishment of JAFR will strengthen research output, enhance academic discourse, and contribute to policy and industry best practices in accounting and finance. This initiative aligns with the University of Professional Studies’ vision of fostering excellence in professional and academic research.
